At its home show, SEAT has unveiled the production version of the Ibiza Bocanegra. Revealed in concept form at the Geneva Motor Show in March last year, the Bocanegra ('black mouth' in Spanish, referring to the unique black trim on the supermini's nose) will appear on UK roads later this year. An electronic limited slip differential and a seven-speed DSG gearbox with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifts are fitted to the model which is set to go on sale alongside forthcoming FR and Cupra Ibiza variants as a flagship model. New Ibiza FR also debuted in Barcelona with supercharged and turbocharged 150PS 1.4-litre TSI engine. Silver-coloured door mirrors, 17-inch alloy wheels and twin exhaust pipes are all standard. Order books open in the UK in July for petrol powered SC guise. New-look Leon Cupra also featured on SEAT's stand, with styling revisions and the addition of XDS - a system offering similar benefits to a conventional limited slip differential. Existing Cupra's 240PS engine is carried over to the new model which will be available to order in the UK later this year. SMART Full range of existing models on display. SsangyongThe big news for Ssangyong is the C200. First revealed at the Seoul Motor Show in April, Ssangyong is calling the prototype a compact urban vehicle (CUV). Styled by Giugiaro's ItalDesign in Italy, the C200 has now taken two forms - Eco and Aero - exploring different design and technology directions.
