ReMIT apprentices dominated the field at a recent Edinburgh college awards ceremony, where they won the top awards in all motor industry training categories.
ReMIT learners attending Stephenson College, Edinburgh for their off-the-job training were the winners in all three motor vehicle apprentice categories at the college's end-of-year awards ceremony.
The awards were:
Apprentice of the Year - Light Vehicle Technician Scott Mailer (John R. Weir, Perth) Apprentice of the Year - Heavy Vehicle Technician Don Rintoul (A1 Automotive, Bathgate) Apprentice of the Year - Body Repair & Refinishing Graeme Ramsay (Eastern Western Motor Group, Broxburn)Their awards were handed out by Sharon Drysdale, Associate Principal, Faculty of Science, Sport and Engineering.
Each winner received a certificate and a cheque in recognition of their efforts throughout their time at college.
